When I woke up this morning, I woke up to a song in my head and it just keeps playing. I’d like to share it with you. Through it all, Through it all, I’ve learned to trust in Jesus, I’ve learned to trust in God. Through it all. Through it all. I’ve learned to depend on his word.

Thank you Lord for these comforting words and the reminder that this journey has made my trust in you grow 10 fold!
You have taught me so much, through this journey. I just want to praise your name! Thank you for teaching me to trust and rely totally on you!

Please keep praying for strength for our family and for Libby’s care and progress.

Daily I find myself flipping through my calender. I am never looking for a scheduled event, but rather an unschedule event. I find comfort in looking ahead to the imaginary date on which we will go on our pick up trip to bring Libby Home, I plan in my mind what flight I will take, the clothes I will pack, the hotel I will chose. The celebrate of Love we will have with family and friends!

The days seem endless, I dread telling family and friends that I don’t know when Libby is coming home. I loathe the disapointed stares. I actually had a friend apologize to me before asking about when Libby would get here. She did not want to cause me any more pain than I was already experiencing. I find it humbling to know that others suffer along with us during this difficult wait. The wait has been getting increasingly more difficult. I do not ever doubt that the promise will be fulfilled. It is in God’s time and hands, God is guiding our path and will lead Libby home. I just have to be patient…….I know that he will bring her home. Please pray for strength for our family, for PGN, that we will be released and the papers signed. Please pray for Libby’s care.

Missing Libby

My heartaches these days for Libby, I miss her so much! I want to go see her, but I am waiting hoping that the lord will bring her home to us soon. I know it is in his time. not mine. Sometimes late and night I am so sad, I get out her blanket that she slept on when we were in Guatemala and just hold it tight and pray that God will send her home soon.

We are still waiting for the conclusion of the step know as “PGN”. We have been back in “PGN” for almost 4 weeks now.( for a total of 8 weeks) We just have to keep WAITING patiently.

Please keep praying for her and us.

Yeah! We’re back in PGN Today!!!

Good News! We have been registered and we are back in PGN as of today! We are celebrating here at home!!!

Hopefully No more kick outs. Basically PGN reviews our dossier and paperwork that was completed in Guatemala. The timelines differs. Some families it is one month others it is over 6 months. We of course are hoping to get out as quickly as possible. The average time is 8 weeks. We would be satisfied with that. Of course we know that it is in the Lord’s hands, it is in his time not ours.

Patiently waiting for our Angel, Libby

Today our precious daughter is 15 months old. As I lay in my bed this morning thinking about her and praying about her, pouring my soul out to God about how much I missed her. I wanted so bad just to touch her and hold her in my arms and smother her with kisses. I miss her so much. The nights keep getting longer and so do the days.

We are making some progress, we were finally Kicked out of PGN on Thursday, After almost 4 weeks. Our attorney should be getting the Ca Paper work filled out and then it is back in PGN, Hopefully, we won’t get kicked out, and we will be out of PGN in 2 months or sooner(we are praying for a miracle) Then it will most likely be about another month before we can pick her up. I dream of that Day every single night.

I know that we are blessed that God has chosen us to be Libby’s Parents. Thank you God for this wonderful little girl.

Please pray for our family, ask God to give us strength, so we can endure this journey.
Please pray that he keeps Libby safe and out of harms way, that ever need of hers is met, that she can feel the love of our family.

Today, Lord, don’t let my day pass without savoring one or more of the following:

*The feeling of a hug from my three sons, Mason, Addison, and Jamison
*The kiss from my husband’s tender lips
*The sights of creations from trees,plants and animals to a sunset or a moon rise
*The taste of chocolate cake
*The smell of brownies baking
*The sound of a song I enjoy listening too.
*The sense of accomplishment, I feel from a job well done
*The uniqueness of this day that you have given me.

Please pray that Libby’s case keeps making progress, we know that when God is ready, that she will come home. We praise him, for bringing her into our lives, what a blessing she is!!!

As of Dec 28th, we are officially in PGN!!!! Praise the Lord!

Our case will have to pass thru 3 different reviewers. If none of these reviewers kick us out.(which is very rare) We could bring her home sometime in March. After our case passes thru the reviewers she will have to have another DNA (just her) before they will issue us a date to pick her up.

This is where we stand. God knows our steps and has our days planned before our birth. So we continue to trust hope and pray.

Thank you for your continued support and prayers thru this journey to bring Libby Home.

Hallelujah!!! We were submitted to PGN today!!

Hallelujah! Hallelujah! We are in PGN! I have been dreaming about this for the past week, all I can think of is this. You see today, is the last day to get registered, before the law changes, and we might not have been able to bring our precious Libby home. I can’t praise God enough!!! He is so awesome!

Thank you for your prayers, they are working, now please pray that we can get out of PGN in the average time of 8 weeks, we would wait forever,but we want her home as soon as possible. We Love her so much.
